Looked it up now, very cool design! If I´d be in the market for a small Spydie, this one maybe could even compete with the Chap FRN... Very light, a lot of edge for the small package, and the linerlock is just fine especially on a smaller knife (though I´d still prefer a backlock).

Only (but for me huge) downside: No pocket clip. Especially with such a small folder I like to have the option to carry it IWB for example in running shorts... hard to do without a clip...

Still a favorite.

I really like the extra texture on those. Wish Putman made other colors of micarta scales aside from black and green...I'd love some denim blue or burgandy ones for a pm2.

I really like the extra texture on those. Wish Putman made other colors of micarta scales aside from black and green...I'd love some denim blue or burgandy ones for a pm2.

I've tried to order some for a Manix XL a few times but every time I check they're out of stock.

Yep, they go fast for nearly every spyderco model it seems. Obviously there's big demand, odd that Putman doesn't put out more.

Thanks Toocool! Yep, had to drill and tap new holes.

Finally did the 3-way blade swap I've been planning. Carried the purple damascus today!
