So many cool shots here. I've said it before but I'll say it again, it's one of the few times I miss having a "like" button.

Anyway, just enjoying a springtime snowstorm with this RockJumper in my pocket.

Shoutout to Going Gear for hook’n me up with a Catcherman, it’s a pretty dang good fillet knife and lightweight to boot…you can place your index finger on the spine in front of the Spydie hole and really control the tip…super thin blade stock and easily Spydie-flicked if you’re into that plus the ergos are spot on…every fisherman needs one and even though most of us have dedicated knives for cleaning fish it’s just cool man and it works…also wanna thank Mrj for finding me one and when it gets here I suppose my nephew harryo is gonna snatch it up…well done Sal 🎣🙏👊

I bought the FRN UKPK in 2017. It was fine, but as soon as I got my hands on the HH G10 version, there was no going back. I generally prefer G10 over FRN or FRCP.

Had the Ti scales for a bit, and finally decided to try them on. I need to spend some time with it, but otherwise,
- the scales fit perfect,
- same action
- nice soft edges outside and inside compared to G10
- glad it has PB washers
- the blade is actually centered now where it wasn't in the FRN
- easy on the pocket
- looks fancyish

So far so good. Planning on putting it to use and see.

How are the scales for you?

I like them!

My observations are pretty much in line with yours. The fit is spot-on, the blade is centered, and the ti gives a bit of heft and a more substantial feel that I enjoy.

I carry the UKPK often in the waistband, and for that smooth ti scales works well for me.

My first knife i acquired from the caly/calypso family was this one second hand 3 or 4 yrs ago.
It’s been kind of a beater knife or at least turned into one, around the time i was very new and inexperienced with my sharpening technique and ended up grinding some of the belly of the blade profile off. Whoops, oh well. It also got buried and compacted under about 5 inches of dirt on my past construction site job, found it a day later with a metal detector. But she’s very sharp now and performs excellent which is really all I need. (Thanks again Sal for your legendary contribution to knife design)
