Those scales look great! Where did you get them from? I wonder if they have any options for my Matriarch 2. Black frn just doesn't do it for me.

Ordered these scales a few months ago and thought I went with brown but I'm not complaining and very happy with the OD Green
Sooo nice! Gonna have to get some for one of my delicas eventually.

I think the Matriarch 2 and Endura 4 use the same scales but the backspacer might need a little mod to close properly.

What do we have going on here SG? How is it set up, nice and stable for light passes?
Yeah just a medium pocket stone perched on the rods of the sharpmaker...stable enough for light passes...very fun!

Another day with this guy. Haven't carried a Para 3 consistently since I first started getting into Spyderco's and only had about 3 knives. It really is a bit better than I had be thinking the past year or so. For me, when choking up the knife is very comfortable in use. Yes, it's a stout and thick blade...but when using it at work, I feel more confident in using it a little harder than I do with say a PM2, especially at the tip. As you can see in the pic, I dropped the knife on some clamps yesterday (about a 4 foot drop). I'm not sure if those marks below the logo are on the DLC, or if it actually scratched through. Really hoping that's not the case :o Will have to try some Flitz on it and hope for the best.

They don't look like they've scratched the DLC. Dont know for sure, just an opinion from looking.

Great shot! Don't forget about the Photo of the Week thread! It hasn't had many entries the last couple weeks. :(
