Linda to the rescue!!!

#1

Post by Bohr »

This week I recieved my blue rescue from Linda Glasshart. I is very nice. The sharpness amazes me. (I can't stop slicing pieces of paper...).

The knive itself feels and looks very friendly en the sheepfootblade feels very comfortable. I tried to stick it trought a piece of plastic foil and it wouldn't cut through. It's good to know you can't accidently cut yourself or someone.

The way it was ordered was also very nice. I live in the Netherlands so normally I would have to pay about 25% VAT (so I heard on this forum).

But since Linda ..... .... ...." (and ... ..... ..... .... ....!!) I didn't have to ... ... .....

(above text is censored after a helpfull hint from a fellow poster)

So I am now the proud owner of wonderfull knive wich would have cost me double if I bought it in the local outdoor store. (the old rescue costs about 100 euro's (or$)

Linda, once again: it was a pleasure doing business with you!

Thanks!!

Boris

Well, maybe it's not such a bright idea telling the whole world about it... Maybe you should consider removing/editing that post. I suppose you don't want to put Linda in trouble, do you? Besides that, I wish you luck with your new Spydie.

Svass, another of Linda's european customers.

Hi Svass,
I'm not telling the world about it.
Just the people who read this forum...just like all of you telling the world about doing business with Lady Glasshart.
There is nothing new to this way of ordering stuff.

The only one who could get into trouble would be me. I would have to pay the extra 25% VAT. (12,5$)
But considering this is just 1 knife instead of a container of sigarettes with a crate of firearms hidden inside a load of marihuana.
I take my chances with the Dutch IRS.. ;-)

Greetings Boris

Hi Bohr. The part that I was referring to was the part where you told us that -----. No need to tell everyone ----(That's more like a surprise bonus when you're dealing with her ). It's ------ and if she is doing that on a regular basis she could probably ----. Thats what I meant. I don't mind you telling the other stuff.

Ok, I edited mine. Sorry for messing up this thread. Maybe I'm a bit paranoid. Enjoy your knife.

I'm not paranoid. I know they're out to get me

svass :

Laws ( ESPECIALLY tax laws ) are made to be broken ( or, in this case circumvented ) I
don't think the "revenuers" monitor every forum of every webpage that has one

"Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean that they're not out to get you!"

Howdy Svass! Welcome to Land!

Enjoy the knife, the Rescue pattern has to qualify as one of the best has. As for your ----s, don't worry about it. It's no big deal, and I'm sure most every retailer does the same!

Never underestimate the impossible.

I'm looking forward to receiving mine. This pattern is a great one and as mentioned above, certainly more sheeple friendly for those Politically Correct types.

I received the Blue 93mm Rescue this week. It's as nice as a straight-blade can be. ALMOST perfect...just need some curve in that edge!

curved blade=good
