I have been stuck on 15 Spydies for some time now. Here lately I have been buying more traditional old style knives than modern day designs. While looking at slipjoints last night I decided to check out an old favorite website. Low and behold the Camo Military was on sale for a decent price. She went directly into the cart and was promptly sent my way. I will soon be adding a new Military with the Camo G10 scales. I have been putting this one off because of the tip down carry only. Now the wait begins.

Glad to hear you got a great knife coming. Makes life worth living doesn't it. :) When it comes to carrying a knife with a pocket clip I love tip-up and hate tip-down. That's only in regards to carrying the knife. But I wouldn't let that hinder buying one if I want the knife. After all, don't we buy knives for how they feel and perform for cutting? Sometimes we actually think about using a knife as part of the deciaion making. :) I do understand the tip-down thing though. I can be just as anal as the next guy. If you are a male and don't get anal from time to time you have to give up your "guy card". :D Sorry, but it's a rule. :D

I love the Military...and I am a lefty! I carry it anyway (when I need a knife that large) because I think that it is a spectacular knife (far better than the Para2).
Congrats on getting a very very good knife.

I didn't buy a Millie for a long time because of the tip down.

After I got my first one a few years a couple thigns happened. I started carrying all of my
knives tipdown and the Military became my favorite.

Congrats.

Thanks folks. I'm sure I'll get use to tip down. It seems to nice to pass up for that reason alone.
