Any fellow electrical workers out there?

This is my newest project for the week. Checking every phase for load, temperature, and replace any blown limiters (in line fuses) on the network tied to buss cables

Is that a vault? If so, it's the nicest i've ever seen.

Yep an underground network buss tie vault. About 16ft deep. Had approximately 100 sets of 3 phase 500kcm rubber neoprene insulated cable all with buss ties and limiters. It is one of the most neat and well executed examples I've seen as far as racking and load distribution go. I definitely give kudos to the original installation crews!

Here's some various pics of some of the stuff we do.

A couple of old lead training pics:

Taping a 500plj-500plj lead straight joint

Opened up a cable from 1929 to cut it into another line. The ribbon is found in all lead cable and gives info on manufacturer and date of manufacture. Pictured with a Lead chipping knife.

We do it all.

Finally. Gotta have a spydie pic.
