Any fellow electrical workers out there?
Yep an underground network buss tie vault. About 16ft deep. Had approximately 100 sets of 3 phase 500kcm rubber neoprene insulated cable all with buss ties and limiters. It is one of the most neat and well executed examples I've seen as far as racking and load distribution go. I definitely give kudos to the original installation crews!KNaB wrote:Is that a vault? If so, it's the nicest i've ever seen.
Here's some various pics of some of the stuff we do.
A couple of old lead training pics:
500PLJ lead wye
Taping a 500plj-500plj lead straight joint
Opened up a cable from 1929 to cut it into another line. The ribbon is found in all lead cable and gives info on manufacturer and date of manufacture. Pictured with a Lead chipping knife.
Lead Pots
Some 1500MCM
We do it all.
A burned -up can from a storm that came through northern Illinois a couple of years ago.
Finally. Gotta have a spydie pic.
