Manix2 Sprints

Please forgive my ignorance as I ask this question.
One of the knives I always go back to looking at is the Manix2 as it seems to be a great knife at a great price.
However, I usually prefer a FFG blade. I notice most if not all of the sprints for his model have those.
Now the dummy part.
Where do you get these? Are they all set up where you have to order in advance? Can they be bought through normal channels? If you have to sign up in advance, how do you know about them?

I haven't heard of any new Manix 2 sprints for a while.
It would be best if you looked at the secondary market, like BST forums (Bladeforums, CPFMP, EDC Forums, Jerzee Devils) or Ebay.

Some of the sprints have disappeared faster than others. I believe the CTS BD30p didn't sell out for a while.
If you don't mind the FRCP lightweight model all those blades are FFG. Likewise a G10 model could always be ground flat if you know of someone with the skill (like a custom knife builder).

Which one of the Manix2 sprints did you want?

I'm not picky actually. I just think I would like the skeletonized liners and the FFG blade. I like a good steel, but I don't think any of the Sprints have been done in a bad one.
If pushed, I love the Blue G-10.

Spyderco produced Manix2 sprints a while ago. In order to get any watch secondary market: e-bay, various forums "for sale" sections. Also you can put ad in "Wanted" sections. I believe that bladeforums have the most traffic.
Good Luck

I just picked up the Translucent
Blue lightweight FFG Manix 2. I had no interest in this knife but when I finally saw it in person and was able to handle it. I bought it right away.. I love it.
