The Walking Dead Signiture Weapons

Ok, so most of the characters in The Walking Dead have a signiture weapon. Rick has a Colt Python, Daryl has a crossbow, Andrea has a Beretta M9, Michonne has a katana, Merle has a... metal stump.

So my question is if you were a main character on the show, What would be your signiture weapon?

Mine would be an Ed Brown Kobra Carry. Not very conventional for a Zombie Apocalypse, but looks good on tv.

Well, since they don't make shovel nunchucks I'd have to go with a Golok. :D That or a pike of sorts.

For the life of me I can't understand why nobody has thought of the pike/spear type weapon. Even a simple pitchfork would be good enough to keep distance between you and the shuffler and be able to easily penetrate a skull and destroy the brain. I guess it just doesn't make for good TV.

Love this

Maybe it's the same reason all those CSI shoes use ridiculously underpowered flashlights that throw 2" circles in dark sadistic barns. Tunnel vision = suspense.

I always wondered about that. :D

And keeping on topic, I'd want a tomahawk on my belt always.

I can't get over how impractical the Samurai sword actually would be. Half the time I'm waiting for the writers have that thing crack in half and have her pick up a gun.

For me though, I'd probably grab a Buck 060 Hoodlum or, like EvilD, something long and pointy.

I love my guns, but I would certainly want a long reach edged weapon as well as a short maneuverable backup sharp weapon. To be specific, I might wield a Cs Gross Messer and a Schempp Rock or Rock Salt. I would always want to be the silent killer.

I always heard that the way film makers do dark scenes, they film in normal light, then darken it afterwards. So, they need to use a crazy bright light to show up well. That's why you see M6's and Maxabeams in movies so often.

No one has mentioned that Daryl uses a Busse yet. I think it would be good to use a knife for the silence reason.

I'm surprised I haven't seen a bayonet on a sniper rifle yet.

A half pike ( Rapparee ) , possibly a short sword (leaf or Roman type) with buckler as well as an M4/203 if possible. Alternately the Benelli M4 & Glock 22 combo with A nice oak baton. I have many, many hours with that simple but effective tool

Nice car axles and pinion gears Tony. :)

My weapon of choice would either be a pitch fork or a Machete or both. If I did carry a gun it would be a Glock 17 (9mm).

Since we're in the realm of fiction, I'll choose a fictional weapon. I'd carry a lightsaber.

One person's fiction is another's dystopic autobiography yet to be written. ;)
