Use a search we've talked about this recently. Yes some use a safe, others a cabinet, others a tool box. I use a 1300 pelican case with the knives stored vertically, as recommended by others on this forum.

I store my knives in Cabela's Dry-Storage Ammunition Boxes with a 40 gram Hydrosorbent Silica Gel Container in each box.

all my safe queens are in the safe, and the rest are in my cabinets

I like the Pelican cases. IIRC this is a 1170.

Just some gentle grammar policing (and I mean this in the nicest way) because this is our hobby and it's important to refer to it correctly:

if there is more than one knife, use the term "knives". If there is only one knife, then it remains "knife".

I keep the knives that are not currently in my carry rotation in a small fire safe. The knives that are in my rotation I keep in a series of stackable shelves (they are actually plastic office trays) in an upper cabinet in my kitchen.

I'm glad I am not the only one that bugged.

I keep mine in a set of drawers from IKEA. I intend to get a nice wooden chest some day. The current carry rotation knives live in a basket on my desk.

I put them on a shelf in a kitchen cabinet or on top of my dresser, where they wait for their turn in the rotation. The one with a CV blade gets treated with mineral oil more often than the stainless knives.

I used to keep my spydies in hinged glass display cases about 18" x 12" x 3" and they were stacked inside my safe. Since then I have accumulated more firearms (plus spydies) and no longer had room for them in he safe. I purchased a large Pelican (actually a Seahorse) case to make them easier to transport and enjoy. Now I can have them all sitting beside me while I watch TV or while chatting on the forums.

They're hanging in a Spyderpack in my closet. They're all users, so I pull them out as I need them... easy access.

Here's my so much less formal set-up. Knives are either here or in my pocket! Only one missing is my only fixed blade, which sleeps underneath the pillow. :D Image

Yes - I just hope that my comment didn't come across the wrong way. Never know when someone is not a native speaker of English and I don't want to turn people away. Just trying to help.
