Solo Buttonlock... Who has one?

#1

Post by liko »

I was surfing around looking for new Spydies on the online catalogue. I ran across the Solo Buttonlock again, and thought, might as well, it's only $25 from the website.

I just wanted to know how many of you have one, and what you guys think of it. It looks as though it would make an excellent EDC, and be a little lower-profile than a <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> (we all love the hole, but some other one-hand-openers work almost as well). So, how bout it? What do you think of your buttonlock?

Liko, I ordered one just yesterday. Did you get one? If so, how do you like it? If sal designed it, it has to be decent, especailly for the $25.00! RKBA!

I have two of these and they are very nice utility folders with a modified linerlock that incorporates a closing button.
Sal told me a couple of years ago that he sometimes comes upon knife designs that will not fit into the Clipits range due to lack of a hole in the blade, but that are too good to be left out. He markets those under the Solo brand. These knives are really worth a lick!
They are very good value for money utility knives, no tacticle knives with exotic steels, carbon fiber or G-10 but just good old working stuff.

Clipits work!

Thanks Jurphass, I figured I couldn't go wrong, and great materials, and 10A steel to boot!
