Missing screw on the smallfly?

#1

Post by amar »

I purchased a NIB Smallfly from the marketplace, and it seems to have a screw missing. The seller indicated it was this way. Some photos also indicate a missing screw (empty hole), so I think this is the way it is. Can someone confirm?

In the photo below, of the two side-by-side holes, only one has a screw.

Amar, I have a black G-10 live blade and red G-10 trainer. Both are the same as your camo. The answer is simple, there is really only one handle, it is used for both sides, and, when used on the latch side, that "extra" screw hole is used for the latch pivot screw.

Thanks The Deacon, your explanation is logical, and seems this is the case.
