The Little Big Knife You EDC???

#1

Post by raven »

Hey All, Just curious to which "Little Big" spydie you carry???

I carry an assortment of knives, but as of late while Off-Duty I've found the Techno in pocket. This little blade can handle most anything you can throw at it. Very Impressive model (Thanks Spydie Crew ;) ). Take Very Good Care and Be Safe Always.

God Bless :)

ZDP Ladybug. It lives on my work keys, and gets used any time i'm around NKP, which is quite a lot.

I'm right there with David, and the ZDP ladybug. That's a lot of knife in a little package.

I have carried a SE Ladybug a few times but I've decided it is too small for me. I also carry the Byrd Hawkbill sometimes. I'm thinking a Dragonfly might work, but more likely a Delica is what I need.

I have a Techno a lot of the time, and my H1 LB is always attached to Fenix E15. Occasionally I have a GEC on me as well.

I would like to get a dragonfly se h1 or similar ladybug someday, but the smallest folder i have/use/carry is/was a frn delica [vg10 blue]. I have plenty of other knives/have had plenty, but this knife just seems to be the jack of all trades. Good length, light, nicely priced, the steel sharpens one of the easiest out of my bunch [which is also why I like it so much. Performance/ease of sharpening is great].

The Techno is the only LBK (so far) that seems to have found a permanent place in my carry rotation. Far more useful than I ever imagined.

My most commonly carried LBK isn't a Spyderco, sad to say: Case Swayback Jack with CV blades and chestnut bone scales.
Newest :spyder: in hand: Halloween Handle Hap40 Endura and Delica.

Techno is a real beauty, but I find the thinner Cat in my pocket more often.

Why do you find a thick, short blade so useful, if you don't mind my asking? Thanks.
