When you SpyderDrop a Mouse or one of the lighter handled/smaller Spydies, it is most important to grip the blade/hole very tightly. This will transfer more of the wrist snap to throwing the handle off the blade. Best done starting with knife in tip up position.

If my kitty-cat (June-Bug) saw me trying to Spyderdrop my Mouse, I'm pretty sure that she'd snatch it right out of my hand and show me the RIGHT way to "open-up" a "mouse"...LOL!!.

I can grab the hole on my Navigator and pull the knife out of my pocket and open the blade at the same time.
It helps that it has a very tight pocket clip and I have loose pockets. Wouldn't want to try it wearing my jeans.
Never let minor details like the facts get in the way of telling a good story.

No problem at all ; the little critter spyderdropped on demand as of the first try.
Like Mike Sastre said : hold on to the blade tightly as indeed it does take a bit stiffer flick than larger knives and you do not want to drop the Mickey Mouse of knives.
Anyone tried to spyderdrop a real mouse ?
