I've gotten completely used to not having a clip, but you're right, it could always be taken off. Maybe somewhere down the road we will see a clipped Manbug.

Sal, any word on whether or not a clip for the Ladybug\Manbug family is in the cards?

At the risk of becoming annoying, (if I haven’t gotten to that point already) I’d like to ask one last time if a wire clipped Manbug is a future possibility or just a pipe dream. Thanks!

It would be a nice option if it was removable and increased price less than 10%.

Agreed. Removable wire clip a la the dragonfly.

I'd be up for one. Definitely needs to be removable.

Been my dream since the very beginning of my spyderco hobby. I would love this.

My plan was for a wire for shirt pocket clipping. It got put on a "hold" shelf. I guess we can look into it again.

What about a beefed up version of the Baliyo clip? Single wire but thick enough to be sturdy.

Hi Evil,

It's the fastening that's tricky. Removable, but sturdy. Also, the clip on the Baliyo had it's challenges.

I'd be fine if it was not removable. Just have two versions. Easy for me to say, huh?

I have been toying with the idea idea for a while myself, letting it percolate through the brain. Here is what I have come up with so far.

Due to the small size, there is really no way to have both a clip and a lanyard hole without making the whole thing larger, and totally changing the design. So leverage these disadvantages.

Have would be a threaded insert (removeable so left/right swapable) through the lanyard hole that would engage the screw that holds the clip in place. But I still have not figured a good way out how to keep the clip from rotating without changing the mold.

We've come up with similar ideas.

The original post in this thread illustrates perfectly what seens to be the easiest route to get a clip on these littlest of big knives. Lanyard holes and wire clip wells sunk into the frn just like the dragonfly. Even the same size clip from the dragonfly looks like it works perfectly.

As the original poster and fan of the manbug/ladybug I am still hopeful this becomes a thing!

I carry my DF2 in the watch pocket without a clip, works great that way. The clip is on my Positron cause it’s better than the stock clip for me. I would like to try a clipped Manbug but I probably would take the clip off. I have carried a Ladybug on my keychain but I switched to a small multitool with scissors on the keychain. I think multiple carry options are great because everyone has slightly different needs and opinions.
