Decent flashlight under $35, Help please

I have decided to purchase a decent compact flashlight and I want to spend less than $35 bucks. I don't need anything amazing. I have a couple Fenix E01's and Maglites, but never really invested time or money in finding a better light. (I do have some nice LED headlamps for camping.) I want something compact and a standard battery size is preferred.
Suggest away.

Hey Araneae,
If you want bottom dollar value, auto zone carries a Coast brand AA that puts out 60 lumens.
Cost: $12.99.
Walmart has an Ozark Trails 3x AAA that puts out 100 lumens.
Cost:$10.99
Just a suggestion.
Later,
Don

The Streamlight Stylus Pro is a nice little light and falls well within your budget requirement...I've seen prices ranging from $17.99 to $30.00

A buddy at work picked one up about three weeks ago and with two Lithium AAA cells it puts out a nice, very usable beam. Good fit and finish on it as well.

I just received this today per a tip on another thread. At $39 it's close. It maxes out at over 200 lumens. I added five bandannas to get up to the $49 free shipping.

I got one for my Dad who really likes it. Moonlight mode even which I really like and is hard to get on the really cheap lights.

I hear terrific things about this. 200 lumen clicky on AA, 400+ on Li-ion. Avail in 3 colors and tints starting at $29.

Fenix makes some models below or close to $35.
Mag even makes some better quality lights in that price range too- the XL50, XL100, etc.

A Streamlight was mentioned above, I have the
Streamlight ProTac 1L. It has a nice small sheath that I attach to the outside of a backpack for easy access. It is fairly small as you can see from the picture for size reference. It runs $30 - $40 I believe and generates a good amount of light for a reasonable amount of time. It is also a plus to me that it is click operated and can be operated easily with one hand.

One of my friends recently bought Maglite XL200 LED and very happy with it. It is under $35 shipped at amazon. Made in US. Quite bright, 172 lumens I believe, running on 3 AAA batteries.
