Red normally designates a training blade.

A dark red would be nice, and pair it with CPM-M4 while we're at it  .

Red would be too provocative IMO. Burgundy though coupled with a good steel might be okay.

I would buy a brighter red, but probably not a crimson or burgundy. I loved the persian red and I would fully support a PM2 in that shade. Or something like this....

This is from Missing Digits on BF. Not sure about the red but I think blue would look ok with the camo pattern thru it.

I suggested red in another thread somewhere else. Even a dark red/burgundy would be a good choice.

I've seen people that have rit-dyed the digicam models red and they look pretty good. If Spyderco won't produce a red one then the red digicam isn't a bad substitute.

It's a safety issue - grab a red training knife and you don't want to accidentally whip out a sharp blade.
Our reason is quite satisfied, in 999 cases out of every 1000 of us, if we can find a few arguments that will do to recite in case our credulity is criticized by someone else. Our faith is faith in someone else's faith, and in the greatest matters this is most the case.

Well, it's a good thing they won't ever make a training Para 2. :)

True, the large holes in the blade of most trainers should be enough warning, some folks are color blind anyway.

Mmmm I like red!!! Would certainly take one!! It must be possible without being a trainer, the Red Persian Sprint Run was not a trainer. You could try to use it as a trainer... :p

I've been begging for a red handled DLC sprint knife for a long time. After all that is Spyderco's colors.

Seriously, though - the trainers are bright red. A Para2 in dark red G10 would be great -- burgundy, maroon, terra cotta, firebrick, auburn, dark crimson... pick a shade...

And an M4 blade would be AWESOME! ;)
