Seeing as this is the thing to do figured I'd give it a go.

After ten long years of wanting a spyderco knife I finally made the plunge a few months back and bought a Cat, followed by the Dragonfly 2, and my latest purchase the Salt I. I am new to knife owning / collecting, prior to my three spydercos the only real pocket knife I had was a vernco knife my grandfather left me. So the steels, and materials are all new to me. Figured the best way to learn more about my new passion was to join the forum, and I have to say I am really enjoying the niceness, and general knowledge of everyone. It's nice to be a part of a forum like that.

Well that's all thanks for reading.

Welcome ChaoticLuck :) For what you describe you are in the right place ;) Are your knives PE, SE or both? Which variety of D'fly?

I feel the same way when folks far more knowledgeable and experienced than I treat me with respect and help us learn more about the world of knives and blade materials :) You can be here a while, but I don't think anyone can learn it all.

Enjoy your knives :) I can certainly say that this forum with a little independent research can help you along your journey ;)

Thanks for the welcomes! All three are plain edge don't want to venture too far into the deep when it comes to sharpening them. The dragonfly is the VG-10 frn model, nothing too fancy yet.

Welcome! It seems your knife descisions are getting longer each purchase, next i suggest a zdp endura followed by a m390 military, and top it of with a southfork :)
Ps you can throw your wallet away, now that your in here theres no use for it.
:D

Welcome CL!

I'd recommend picking up a Sharpmaker for your next Spyderco purchase... :)

Ha didn't even notice. I do have my eyes on a few, delica, endura, air, and the most wanted Vallotton.

Thanks, it's definitely on my to get list. I just need to win the lotto, or follow an armored truck and hope its doors fling open with money to fund it all.
