Endura Availability?

#1

Post by Chiles »

Do the Spyder Edge Enduras come in any other colors besides black? If so, where at? I find it a bit hard to find them.

I think you can get the black one and the stainless steel one in both fully serrated and partially serrated. The blade is saber-ground and not FFG like the colored models. I've seen that BLADEHQ has them in stock. Good price, too.

Also a foliage green VG10 and a ZDP189 British racing green in fully serrated
We would rather be the knife in your pocket, because is "works" better, than the knife in your showcase, because it "looks" better.

I'm shooting from the hip here so could be totally wrong but I think the ZDP189 serrated models have been discontinued. The PE versions have moved to full flat grinds.

That said, the OP might check out the rescue models and the Atlantic Salt/Salt Saver. No, they don't have tips in the traditional sense but they give you a TON of cutting power.

Also worth looking at might be the Pacific Salt and Police 3/G10. I think most are discontinued, but you should still be able to find the stragglers in stock if you are looking.

Ack, forgot that you were looking for color. Well, the Pacific can be had in Bright Yellow.

I wanted to mentioned that the colorful models were released as PE only! That might be a minor detail that can be missed.

That may be true but they appear to be available readily online.

I may end up just getting a Pacific Salt SE or an SE Delica in orange. I already have a PE orange Delica and wanted a matching pair but I can just bite the bullet on it haha.

An SE orange delica doesn't exist unless you make one yourself.
