Some idiot keyed my car while I was working, little did he know that my girlfriend was waiting in her car next mine and saw the whole thing. She comes inside the office where I work (an answering service) and gets me, I freak out and call the police. The guy had walked into a bar I can't go in because they ID you, I decide I should just call the cops I'm fuming with so much anger the cops get here in like 2 mins. She ID's him so well that they spot him out in seconds inside. He did it for no reason......
So now my question is how do I get him to pay for the repairs which was quoted at $638... I am pressing charges tomorrow and my insurance said it would cost me a deductible of $500 so what I'm thinking of doing is asking the cops to inform him that I want 800 bucks or I'm taking him to court.
