Dark lines on the blade of my new Endura 4

#1

Post by Kousii »

I don't exactly know what they are, but is it normal to have dark lines on your blade. (They are located on the top and bottom of the hole.) Is there a way to get those lines out? What are they?
P.S. Sorry about the finger shadows on the blade.

Thanks,
George

They look like grind lines to me. Some of mine have them worse than others but not usually that bad.

In my experience, uneven coloration on VG-10 blades is fairly common.

I've got the same discoloration on the VG-10 of my Superhawk and in the same place. It doesn't bother me enough to try to figure out how to get it out.

Simichrome Polish will take care of it in most all cases I've found or heard of.
