Reject, that is a beautiful collection! You're a man after my own heart. As much as I like Spyderco folders (and carry them almost exclusively), I think I like their fixed blades even more.

Have you been collecting the Mules too?

That's an impressive collection! You seem like an excellent candidate for the Mule program, did you get any of those?

Not a one.

The mules are yet to excite me as do the Spyderco Fixed blade and folders.
But; having said that. I have not yet held a Spyderco mule in my hand. If I do, that may change things dramatically.
That is how Spyderco won me over. How their knives feel in the hand.

Of the folding variety, I have just over 200.

Thanks for looking guys.

G’day bartvbd. Very nice picture of your Spyderco Moran and Caspian.

But you still leave us with a bit of a mystery as to which ones they are.
Is the Moran a FB01 upswept blade or a FB02 drop point?
Is the Caspian a FB21 or a FB22 blunt nose?
You may need to give us another photo.

I am guessing FB01 and FB21.

You may have a long way too go, but you will enjoy the journey.

What a beautiful collection, thanks for sharing. Great photography. The Lum really does it for me. Also love the aqua salts, they are great users. You are definitely fixed on the fixed. :) :spyder:

One of the best Spyderco fix-bladed collections I've seen. Great pictures, Reject. Keep 'em coming! :)

I think we need to call you "Acceptable" and not "reject". :)
Great collection-- which one is the user?

A couple of the Hossom’s have come out and done a bit of chopping, but it is the Street beat finds its way out of safe the most.

;) But to be honest, for where I live and for what I do, folding knives service me better.
A Para 2 and a slightly modified Sage 1 (it has one titanium scale) are my constant companions.

I don’t get out bush much these days, but I think when I do; it will be the Temperance 2 on my hip. With the Street beat coming along for the ride. But then again it would good to take the bushcraft with me, O; and I would have to take Puukko to try that out. But I may need to do some chopping, that would mean I would have to take a Hossom or 2. Then I may need a knife for food preparation, I would take a Moran for that. But which one?
 But what if Rains? I wouldn’t want my knives to rust. I need to take something in H-1. I’ll chuck the Aqua salt in the kit bag, but again which one serrated or plain blade, Yellow or black. Better chuck in the Rock Salt, I’ll put it next to the Schempp Rock. Better take the a Caspian Salt too, mmmmm pointy or blunt point.

Dare I take a Warrior with me, mmmm the black one may be a little too much.

Now neck knives, what should I take Swick or Spot and which one.

:D Well know you see why I don’t go bush much anymore. Can’t walk far for all the bloody knives I’m carrying.

I already have a Spyderco Moran FBO1, :) but just want one with the original leather sheath.

:D Used but not abused.

:) Got myself another Jumpmaster.

Image

:p But this one is a little bit different.
It is one made for the Japanese market.

Image

The Jumpmaster was designed for the U.S. Army's 82nd Airborne Division. The blade comes fully serrated to quickly cut through ropes, lines, webbing or fabric.
But apparently in Japan; when their parachutes fail and they are plummeting thousands of feet to their deaths. They prefer a plain edged blade.

Okay, okay, we get it already --- you've got all the knives in the world! Jeezy, peezy, puddin' & pie! :D

I like that Pukko, but I'd saw off my left one with a dull Gerber for that Lum tanto.

Envious? Me? That's just crazy talk!

Thanks for sharing pictures of your great collection.
