Native 5 feedback

As was mentioned in a recent post, the native 5 lightweight is waiting on feedback from the current g10 model, so lets get tje ball rolling!
From my limited exposure to the N5, id say i could use more usuable blade length and an altered clip positioning in tip up configuration. The positioning of the clip on the N1 was outstanding, with the dip in the clip matching the swell of the palm perfectly, the n5 clip feels too far back to me.
The blade length would seem to be a result of blade laws *shrug*.
Constuction is bulletproof.
Also my general opinion of choil jimping is that it's unnecessary, no execption in this instance. The native locks into the hand well enough that the jimping is mildly uncomfortable to me. The n1 was dead on in this regard perfect choil, maybe even because of (not inspite of) the handle not being rounded in the same arc as the choil. It wasnt as aesthetically pleasing but it seemed to fit better (than the n3).
Also, though some may disagree, i vote thumbs down for integral washers for the new n5. The models ive handled with integral washers were slow to deploy and my n3 has never loosened up, dedicating it to drawer duty. And no, i dont care to sit with it for hours to break it in like some of the more dedicated among us. Id rather have no liners like the n1, it was always very smooth and i never have any blade play issues.
Lastly, i briefly had the lightweight manix 2 and would saw that i would gladly have sacrificed the negligible weight increase for non skeletonized scales, the thinness of the translucent frcp didnt inspire confidence in my hand. Id say a solid slab of plastic would 'seem' better. More of a cerebral aestheticism (no, that is not a word anywhere but here on this forum) but i needed to get that out, as i love the native line and would feel bad if i didnt contribute all i could to it in the ways i believe to be true.
My 2 sense. Please supplement.
