The new shape of sharp ($$$$$)
I have been looking for this book for some time now. Well, i found it on amazon. For $1,999.00. Could this be a typo? Is the book really that rare? Wow!

I have the hard cover edition and I'm definitely glad that I've held on to it all these years. Very interesting read if you can find one at a good price, but as Evil D mentioned, at 2K a personal visit from Sal should be in order.

Yeps I have been looking for it quite long now and sometimes it pops up at rediculous prices for a book. It would be nice to have an updated version!!!

Lol! I think I gave about about $50.00 for my copy, although I purchased mine sometime back in 2002. :) This particular copy may very well feature the gold-etched lettering that was popular in 2004. (Just kidding, of course!).Evil D wrote:For 2 grand the book better have Sal Glesser pop out of it and sharpen my knife for me :D
On a serious note, this is a great book and would be a real gem to anyone's collection.

Here, check this out:

I can't believe the B*lls of this guy selling the book for this much. But who the heck knows? Maybe you folks that have this book have something. And this is in soft cover, so those of you that have the hard cover, I guess you can retire! :D

So, should one assume that because the bidding started at only $0.01, that this particular version is NOT the one that has the aforementioned pop-up Sal? :pSpyharpy wrote:A new hardbound copy just surfaced on eBay starting at a penny. Search for "Spyderco Story" and it should appear as it's the only one up.
I love this book. It would be wonderful to see a new release with all of the latest Spydies...
