Yojimbo 2 Snapshots
Here are a few pictures of the Yo2 and Yo1. Sorry they are links, I am having a heck of a time uploading via photobucket. My pictures are less then 100kb and everytime I copy and paste the URL code and then upload it says and error failior deal. Funny thing is I tried uploading past pictures that have worked and they still wont upload. I guess I am a bit computer silly stupid tonight. So frustrating

They don't call it knife porn for nothing, lol.gbelleh wrote:Nice pics. That first one looks a little naughty!
I'm trying to remain patient as I wait for mine...
Yeah I feel pretty darn lucky to swipe one up when I did cause everyone seems to be sitting on the edge of their seats. Had a second one lined up but feel good it made someone elses day. Hope you get yours soon (fingers crossed typing is hard)
Happy Holidays

Great pictures! I like how the Spyderco Yojimbo2 has a more masculine look compared to the more feminine appearance of the original Spyderco Yojimbo... okay, that's how they look to me. :)
Thanks for sharing these pictures!

This might be a bit late, but you want the image code, not the url code. It will have img tags at the beginning and end, like this;Stugots-II wrote:Here are a few pictures of the Yo2 and Yo1. Been carrying mine for two days now. It's a great blade, very similar in size and blade length (and lock and price and other factors) to the Para2, but obviously with a wharncliffe blade and different ergonomics.
If you've seen the Michael Janich YouTube video, you might recall the grip with the thumb on the spine. I've found that after playing with different grips this is really the way the knife "wants" to be held. The spine declines into a little "valley" after the handle, whereas most Spydercos rise in a little hill for the thumb to rest on. The grip is different, but solid. There is liner jimping back on the handle, which gives you the option of a more traditional grip. Yet I find it's not as comfortable as the grip that Michael Janich demostrates in the video.
Overall, it's a great knife, and definitely different enough than my similarly sized Para2 and Manix2 to require some getting used to, as well as some fun diversity.
