My Gun & Knife Show Find

#1

Post by DemskeetSkeet »

Well I finally ended up with a Lava. It had no box but it still had the plastic on the stainless handle. He had $80 on it so I offered him a $50 bill.

Figured it was better than going the eBay route.

He also had a stainless steel handled Poliwog but he had $180-$190 for it. Should have offered him a $100 bill for it but I didn't it.

I'm considering carrying it but I mainly collect Spyderco's.

Since Chad is a friend of mine I am considering representing him by carrying it...

Decisions.....decisions.......

Very nice!

I'd pay 50$ for a Lava with protective cover all day.

Got yourself a great deal and an even greater knife.

Enjoy it!

Nicely done. :)

I once picked up a serrated "Q" model NIB for $30 at a local gunshow. The deals are there if you keep your eyes peeled.

Nice! Stuff like that never works for me. I'll get a great deal on something one of these times.

I say carry it. It will never have the high collector value due to the lack of box, so you might as well enjoy it! I think $50 was a good deal.

That's what I was thinking as well, it makes it even better that Chad is a friend of mine.

I wish I had the box so I could have him sign it.....

But since I don't, I think it'll be my watch pocket knife in my jeans.

It'll go nicely with my Leatherman MUT and Spyderco Dialex Junior
