It took me thirteen years of being into Spyderco knives before I got my first Millie about a year ago. Hardly a day has gone by since then that it hasn't been in my front, left pocket. I hope that you enjoy yours!

Yup, you can tell how cool you are by how many facebook friends you have and the more friends you have on facebook the better you are as a person.

Isn't that the way these days. Collecting stamps and sports cards is old news and these days we collect facebook friends. :p

I will admit to having a strong bias against FB and do not use it myself which is fairly strange for someone my age. My parents are very active on FB.

I unplugged from the FB about a year ago and haven't looked back. It is a narcissists best friend among a slew of other problems of both a social and personal nature.

The numbers are speaking, Spyderco is more popular than Benchmade on the forum side and Benchmade is more popular than Spyderco on the facebook side.

I'm just not sure what any of that means.

I've actually been carrying a Benchmade 531 more than my Delicas lately. I still love my Delicas, but the Benchmade 531 is a bit lighter, and a bit slimmer for carrying in my scrubs at work. Both companies offer knives I like, though Spyderco has "shinier footprints".

Of course the new Kiwi is lighter than my Benchmade 531 so that might need some looking into. :D

I used to carry a 530 and have been eyeballing the 531 due to the full flat grind but I currently don't own any benchmades and my spydie wish list is just too long to squeeze it in.
