Remember the
Dragonfly
I ask this because the talk of mini-<img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>s always seems to mention the Cricket or Ladybugs. Ladybugs and Jesters by the way I think should be referred to as MICRO-<img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>s.
So for categories we could go:
Micro-<img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> = Ladybug/Jester
Mini-<img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> = DRAGONFLY, Cricket, etc.
Regular<img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> = Native, Delica, Salsa, etc.
Big<img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> = Military, Lum tanto, etc.
But this is not my subject, Has anybody ever seen a left hand FRN Dragonfly? Or a FRN Dragonfly with a SS clip? I really like my FRN SE Dragonflies and love the way they feel in my hand. I was thinking of carrying two and it works with them both right handers, but I thought one right and one left would be nicer.
Also I just wanted Dragonflies mentioned more.
"Ne vyklykaj vowka z leesoo, ..... bo tsej vowk maje <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> ." Don't call the wolf out of the forest, because this one carries a <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> .

AH HA! Yes, I'm glad that you brought this up. I too have fallen prey to the limitless beauty of the Dragonfly models. My first Dragonfly was a Carbon Fiber in PE. I then succumbed to purchasing a second Carbon Fiber in SE. (I have twins!<img src="tongue.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>) Those two are about my favorite "mini Spydies" in my collection. I think the SS Dragonfly would be sweet too.
Cheers!

I don't know of lefty or metal clip FRN D'flys, but I haven't really been around here that long. I do however have both the FRN and the SS knives. Both are really sweet. I've become very taken with the SS handled Spyderco knives. Mine include the Delica and Calypso in addition to the D'fly. Try 'em, I'm sure you'll like 'em.

I have used my SS/PE 'fly since August last yr('01)... love it...
the weight for it's size is perfect, and for light tasks it's a superb shape. it digs in a big in the edges under hard work though.

Started with a Dragonfly, wear it around my neck these days...
It's still probably the most useful folder in my opinion. I like the control I get from the smaller knife, yet with just enough blade length to work with. Not a fan of any SS spyderco model, but the FRN is great.
I think it wouldn't feel as good in your hand if you have thick fingers/big hands. But it definitely fits in mine!
I have the SS clip too, Zabrewolf. You can send it to Spyderco and get it doen for like, five bucks I think. It's good, about comparable to the plastic mold clip, in my opinion. I mean, I used the plastic clip for five years and have had not a problem with it. It seems only useful to get the metal one if you happen to break the original (a rare occurance I'm sure). I don't know why I got the SS clip, I guess I had five bucks to blow.
