OK, I’ve never been a Beach Boys fan, except for their ‘70s song Sail On, Sailor, which I posted on the previous page. But I read the book “Everybody Had An Ocean” (about history of rock music in the L.A. in the ‘60s) and heard about this song. The idea sounded weird enough I had to hear it. Brian Wilson’s ode to vegetables (or maybe a certain herb). Paul McCartney actually played a part in this song, providing the crunching sounds by munching on celery(!).

I've been playing a lot of Youtube mixes at work lately when I'm in the office and Deftones always seems to pop up. I always liked their different sound, so much different than my usual heavy taste, but lately I've really been digging them! Beautiful lyrics in this song.

I was cruising through the web a couple of days ago and re-discovered a couple of really obscure rock groups from the past that I really loved back in the good Ol' Days.

The Two Groups I'm speaking of are CURVED AIR and BUDGIE. Both of them were huge across the pond in the 70s and early 80s. Both of those groups were played a lot on underground FM stations back in the day.

While going down memory lane I also ran into a group that were really popular in Europe in the early 70s. I'm speaking of APHRODITE'S CHILD>> and their legendary album "666" on Vertigo Records.

If I could pick a decade to stay in permanently it would be the 1970s
