I had originally bought this knife, BNIB for 20$. Used it here and there but never much.
Before the start of this past summer(went quick!) I decided to keep the tenacious in the garage workshop as a user. I wanted to use this knife as a complete work horse and see what it could take. I would purposely not clean the knife when it got wet, dirty, dusty, what ever.
This knife has been used in probably every imaginable task from cutting hose, plastic tile, sheetrock, "digging", scrapping, opening several bags of dirt and concrete, scoring caulk, and several other tasks you might come across during general home improvement/yard work.
First let me say that this steel surprised the crap outa me. The SE kept cutting and cutting and cutting, and just when you thought it had lost its edge, it still cut. I would say I started using this knife around late May and till this day have yet to sharpen the blade. Sure it could use a nice sharpening but it still functions fine. Another thing that surprised me about the steel was after all that hard use there are NO chips in the blades edge.
In the past weeks this knife have mostly been used in our basement renovation. Due to the recent "hurricane" we had some flooding and needed to rip out everything from the rugs, paneling, and sheetrock. The tenacious was the perfect knife for the job when a blade was needed. First it was used for cutting out the wet rug and padding. As you have guess the SE buzzed right through making short work of the rug. When it came to the demo the tenacious preformed great and was used for something as small as cutting open the box of garbage bags, to needing to "hack"(I know, such a crude word when using a knife:cool :) stubborn sheetrock stuck in various places.
After all that use, there is no bladeplay, lockup is as solid as it gets and liner lock functions perfect.
While there was no noticeable rust from the outside of the blade I wanted to take the knife apart, inspect for any rust and give it a good cleaning(it deserved it).
Below are some pictures of the knife before and after, and a couple of shots of the knife in action. I had some other pictures of the knife in use but cannot seem to find them.

Good as new! ----(for you good observers, yes I know i put the pivot in "backwards")
Thanks for your time, Chris
