ohio knife laws? more specifically autos for firefighters

Does anyone know if it's legal for firefighters in ohio to own autos? Because every website I get out of this is confusing an annoying and I wind up getting frustrated and forgetting about it anyway. any help would be greatly appreciated

It's probably not legal. Federal law, and most state laws, only exempt military and law enforcement. On the other hand, at least anywhere I've ever lived, cops generally treat firemen as fellow S&S professionals and don't go out of their way to hassle them over petty violations, especially of silly laws they're exempt from themselves.
