None in the car right now (deployed) but if I had to choose it would probably be my Ambitious or my SE Tasman.

Before I got bitten by :spyder: , I used to carry a SOG SEAL Pup in my car when I was attached to my first ship back in '05-'07.
My :spyder:'s- CE FRN Endura 4, PE Tasman Salt, SE Tasman Salt, PE Ambitious, PE Grasshopper, PE FRN Delica 4, PE Squeak, Bob T SLIPIT, Lum Chinese GF Nishijin, Endura 4 Trainer, Native SE Lightweight, Delica 4 Trainer, Poliwog, UKPK PESF Maroon FRN.

Wishlist: Matriarch2, Manix2, Pacific Salt Black, Spyderhawk, Manbug, Chaparral, Yojimbo2, Kiwi Stag, Native 5, Starmate (either an original or a newly released one-whenever it comes out).

Currently, there's an Orange Assist in my truck's glove compartment and a serrated FRN Stretch in the center console.

Whatever I have in my pocket along with gold dots :D . I used to keep a larger Boker fixed blade between the seats. Not really sure why, but I moved it back inside the house. My 4 sevens stays on my nightstand.

i carry an assist in the suburban and a yellow saver salt that i modded to add a window breaker on it in the mustang. i still think spyderco should come out with an H1 Assist. leave it in the glove box and forget about it till you, hopefully never, need it.

No real knife, just a Blackhawk Hawkhook. It's easier when my truck is inspected; I work on a government site with restrictions on knife carry. In my pocket is my new H1 Dargonfly.

I keep an Assist and ESEE-5 along with a Jetbeam Jet 3-M in the door and I keep a Zebralight H30 headlamp in the center console.

I also have a 2D ROP and a Mag 2D LED that I personally modded to a high CRI emitter.

Right now, just a D'fly 2 in the center console. I plan on picking up an Assist eventually for the glove compartment. I second Tony's idea - an H1 Assist would be perfect.

In my truck I have an old Standard SE in the ashtray and a blue Rescue in the console. I also keep a SAK and an old Leatherman + flash in my glove compartment. My wife's car has an orange Rescue and a similar SAK/Leatherman/flash set-up.

here ya go, if i were to do it again i would make it shorter, there isn't any reason it needs to be that long. more pics are in the link below the picture.

I wish they made a smaller Assist. I know the idea is silly because you have to pack a ton of goodies on a small handle (and avoid cutting your hand while using the carbide tip) but legality wise the current one is a tad long.

Even a 3" blade on the standard handle would be great. I hope a cop wouldn't make a big deal out of someone carrying a rescue knife but it's hardly inconspicuous. :(

i doubt that a cop would bug you about it, especially because you can't stab anyone with the assist, (i'm talking about the blunted-tipped one, not the assist with the wharnie blade). you could always grind down the assist too. keep dunking the tip in water so the temper doesn't get
messed up and you should be good to go.

edit: if you are nervous about modding the knife yourself, send it to me. pay for return shipping and i'll do it for free :)
