Hey Sal,

I'm a new Spyderco owner. Right now I own the Delica (PlainEdge). I'm about to order the CoPilot, but I don't know if I should get it with the SpyderEdge or the PlainEdge. Which do you prefer? And what do you think of the CoPilot?

I'm not Sal, but I wanted to jump in. Do you every do any flying?? If not get the serrated edge. Every body should have at least one knife completly serrated(mine's an Endura). If ya do fly all the time get the plain edge, and sharpen it to a "grabby"(use medium grit stone only) edge. That way you'll still have the benefit of some serration ability.

Hi AL3. I would have to agree with Blades.

Back in the 80's when we first made the CoPilot as a travel model, serrated was best. We had a couple fly to Africa with CoPilots, dress out all of the animals and fly home. Now, serrations are not liked on airlines.
