ETA on the Native 5 ... ?

#1

Post by On Edge »

I know the Spydie crowd is all a-buzz over the Chaparral, and not to rain on that parade, but do we have any word on the estimated arrival time of the Native 5?

... pretending to be patient ...

The last thing I read December -January for Ti-Fluted, G10 should be before that.

My top choices Natives5, Calys, C83 Persian

Really? That long?

Sal, can you provide verification on that, please?

GP Knives states that the G-10 is expected in mid-August; however, I have seen no "official" mention of it at all ...

Thanks.

KC says August as well, so am guessing it's based on information from Spyderco. That's no guarantee it will ship on schedule, but a fair indication that it will ship "sooner" rather than "later" in the now to December window.

Its gonna be a while. Sal wants feedback on the G-10 version before they start on the molds.
So many knives, so few pockets... :)

Not to jack your jacking of the thread but any word on the exotic steels and alternate handle sprint runs? That's what I'm dying for... ;)

OK, so in the interest of the basic intent of all of these questions …

Can we get a clarification statement regarding the Native 5 and all of its planned iterations?

Much appreciated.

Seems like the Native 5 is very close to being the Sage 4 featuring a mid lock back....
