My Manix 2, no matter how much I use my sharpmaker, has a dull spot towards the handle side of the blade. Any help?
Also, the blade centering isn't straight, and the pivot screw on one side came to me stripped...
Manix 2 help?

About the screw being stripped, send it to Spyderco today if you haven't already.
Ask them to sharpen it also to get the entire edge sharp. About the edge centering, I think they sharpen on a grinding wheel or belt when a knife is made. I believe that means the process is very fast. I've seen Spyderco's brand new where the edge is centered on the blade perfectly. I also saw a Ladybug that had a hideous edge. It looked like one of those $3 knives at the cash register in a gas station. So, for a perfectly (or very close) centered edge you may need to take care of that yourself. I't obvious when the bevel on one side is wider than the other side. You do need to make sure the angle is the same on opposite sides of the blade also. Sometimes they aren't exactly the same but the knife is still VERY sharp.
I hope you get it resolved to your satisfaction. The Manix2 is a great knife.
