Laci Szabo Folder Release?

#1

Post by vivi »

Is there any general time frame when this model is expected? I know Spyderco doesn't give release dates but I just want an idea. Are we talking sometime 2011, sometime 2012 or what? Anyone know?

Long time no see Vivi. Where you been? I kind of doubt 2011 as its not been mentioned lately, but who knows. Sometimes Sal drops a surprise on us.
So many knives, so few pockets... :)

Seeing that it's not included in the mid-year supplement, I'd agree that it's not likely this year.

I'm still interested to see it whenever it comes. I do hope this it's G-10 rather than CF to keep the cost down. We'll see...eventually.

Any news about this folder? I read that Sal was hoping to have it released this year. I'm setting aside a few bills for this one, because I am very, very excited about it.

Same here. Szabo and the Tuff are on my "1st to get" list. I've posted the same thread a few weeks ago because I have not seen this one being posted. Bottom line, can't wait for this knife. Love the blade design. :D

It would be nice if the weight was kept down as much as possible.

Bump. Now that we know the Tuff should be coming out early 2012 could this Laci Szabo folder be not far behind it?

I don't know much about this model... just seen some early prototype pictures. So forgive my ignorance but does anyone know what sort of lock this knife will feature? thanks!

Bump. This will be my next spydie purchase (as long as it's priced semi reasonably of course!)
