That is a nice looking knife, I'm not familiar with benchmades, but how does it feel? Quality wise.

well this will be my second benchmade. the 1st i had was not built well. it was the griptilian. it left a bad taste in my mouth. there have been several benchmades i have looked at and there was blade play. i cant stand a knife that has side to side play. i also held the benchmade mini reflex and it had ALOT of side to side play. then i held this one and everything was perfect on it. so i had to have it. my only gripe is that its not sharp enough for me. but i can work on that.

it really does have an interesting feel to it. its kinda blocky, but it just feels right. i figured it would have been a little sharper out of the box.

I have three Benchmades right now, a griptilian, 940, and mini Barrage. The only one that was even close to what I would call sharp was the grip. I've put the grip and 940 on my edge pro and they are both razor sharp. I might put the mini barrage on there and give it a good edge, but I might get rid of it, so I haven't done it yet.

Wow, great price and great knife. Purchased mine for more than you just paid for yours back in '97 or '98. It was my 1st foray into "expensive" knives, and it was much more than I should have been spending on knives. You might say it was like the knife equivalent of crack cocaine for me---one is too many and a thousand never enough. I used the heck out of mine. Only problem it had was a tendency to collect enough pocket lint to slow down or to prevent full lock-up. Of course, you could also say that that was a problem with me. At any rate, wonderful knife.
