On the pics, it looks like copper carbon fiber.

It has brass or bronze or copper wire in the weave. I've seen it before. Pretty neat stuff.

the reason it is called "lightning strike" carbon fiber is the integrated copper wire is designed to funnel electricity from a lightning strike away from aeronautic components. (LSCF was invented by boeing for use on airplanes)
