Salts with different lock
Salts with different lock
Would Spyderco ever be able to make a Salt knife with a different lock type? I love the idea of a rust proof knife, but I'm not really wanting any more lock backs. They're just not my first choice of a lock type. Would this be possible, while still keeping it rustproof?

It might be possible, but having liners or complicated lock mechanisms means that there are larger amounts of material that must be rust proof. It would likely be cost prohibitive. The mid-lock is simple and ambidextrous so its well suited for the salt series.
So many knives, so few pockets... :)
