Just found an NIB Original Persian C83BMP for $150 + Shipping. Who votes that I get it?

Yeah, it's ~$157.00 shipped. Don't know when I'm ever going to find that again. I will probably end up selling something if I keep it, but either way too good of a deal to pass up, unless I'm off in my estimate of what they usually go for.

I don't think anyone should buy it. But only because I'm bidding on it. :p

I guess someone got it, b/c it's not there anymore.
Edit:
I just bought the HEAVILY used one off cpfmarketplace. It was in rough condition, but got it for around half of what the other large one costs and I don't keep shelf queens anyway, so as long as it works, don't care what it looks like.
If anyone wants the NIB one for $150, check out the Spyderco section in Moore Cutlery (if I'm not allowed to tell people where it is, let me know and I'll delete this).

Well, I just tried to buy it. I hope I don't get an email saying it's not really available, or already sold.
I have a LNIB mini Persian and Kris, so hopefully this will complete my NIB condition Ed Schempp collection.
Thanks for the heads up.

No problem, I hope you get it too. If you do, I will gladly accept your Kris as a sign of gratitude

.
The one I got is really beat up, but just came back from Spyderco for a sharpen and maintenance, plus I will have a persian and not have to sell another knife to fund it.

The Persian arrived today! Thanks again for the heads up. I'd never visited Moore Cutlery before, but they were very nice to do business with.
I have a beat up Persian too, but it's so good to finally have a nice, new one, and complete the original LNIB Schempp collection. Sorry, jossta, but I'm going to have to keep my Kris! :)

That is the one knife that I missed out on, I started into Spydies after they were discontinued. I have a red one and a small one but I really would like to get a large.

I don't think many people know about Moore Cutlery, but they have a lot of good things (I know about the b/c they carry a lot of Atwood Tools and I used to collect them) and I hear nothing but good things about them.
Mine came earlier today as well. I'll post some pics up in a minute. It's in much better condition than I thought. Very well worth the $80 I paid for it.
Crappy pic, but easily becoming one of my favorite knives:

I see that it has the "extra" pin that I've seen on other used Persians. Does anyone know if this was done by Spyderco, and what problem it was intended to fix? I also have a red and a mini, and am still looking for an original full sized Persian.

My beater Persian also has that extra pin. No one seems to know for sure who put them there or why. But it seems to be a fix relating to replacement or adjustment of the lock spring.

Not sure about the pin, but it did just come back from Spyderco for service.
Also, this is def my new favorite EDC. The handle and overall shape is just excellent for carry, and it's fairly slim profile with smooth handle make it awesome in the pocket. This will keep the Bradley out of my pocket for a while I think.

Left my persian on the couch this morning

. Got the XHP out of my glove box to carry, so worse things have happened, but still miss it.

I know what do you feel. I EDC my C83 for almost five years. Forgot it couple time at home. Didn't feel right all day, even had Caly3 in my pocket.
