first of all i want to say that i am very happy to be here and that i am a big :spyder: fan and i respect the work that Mr. Glesser and the Spyderco crew are doing for us.
My question is what is the status of the Samaritan ? and also the Lil Temp 2? :) big thanks :)

The Samaritan; Not abandoned, but very difficult to make as designed. We have working samples, but we're still waiting on a system for production.

The Lil' Temperance 2 is back on a front burner. The pattern is finalized and we're currently working on the best clip and where to mount it.

Thanks very much for the quick reply Mr Glesser! :) i am very pumped about the lil temp 2 i m sure it will be a great sturdy knife i cannot wait to have it :D i think the samaritan would be a very good adittion to the lineup as also would be a spyderco tomahawk but all in their time i think...... :spyder: wet dreams....... :)

Ah yes that one! Now it's all coming to me loud and clear. Better forget about it though since there is no telling when it's coming out.

Wow, nice to hear the Li'l Temp 2 is coming along!! That's one I've been interested in for a while...I'd love to get an original li'l temp but all the ones I've seen on the 'bay are pretty expensive.

Just one question in case Sal sees this post--have you/Eric considered doing a C95 Manix 2? I'd really love to see the C95 with a CBL and exposed jimping on the liners, etc.

It's nice to hear that they are both still in the works Sal. I'll admit I got rather excited about the manual Compression lock version of the Samaritan that was mentioned a couple of years ago ( http://www.spyderco.com/forums/showthre ... tan&page=4 )

I want the manual version with the comp lock. I just like the blade shape. Now that the para 2 is out the handle looks similar but the blade shape is something different and i like it
