i posted this on the usn too , but here goes...
i am torn between getting an old para with d2 or a new carpenters steel gray g10 when they come out
how has your d2 para held up?
and do the d2 paras have the bronze washers like the later paras had?
i have a new para 2 on the way, just want a para in a different steel. something that might be less likely to chip if you hit something hard while cutting
i love s30v, just looking to change it up and not have two of the exact same knife
get classic d2 para now or wait for gray g10 cts para?

Keep your lettuce crisp, and your hair low and loose.
"When they come out?" Are you on a list? Even if you are there is a less than even chance you will actually get one.dissipator16 wrote:i posted this on the usn too , but here goes...

You will have no trouble finding the new when it comes out. you may pay more then the guys that stay on the ball for the sprints, but will have no trouble getting one if you want it.
D2 is a longtime favorite of mine. And I like the Para in D2. One thing to consider is the upcoming model is the para 2 design which a majority of guys prefers to the original design. So even with my like for D2 I would take whichever presents itself.
