The thickest frn-handle

Hi all! Can anybody help me - what is the folder (in line now) with the thickest (and comfortable) frn-handle?

Thickest FRN handle in the current lineup would be the Assist. Comfort is a matter of personal opinion. I prefer a good 50/50 choil to the upper and lower handguards on the Assist, so it loses points with me there. I'd rate the FRN Stretch, which is the same thickness as the Endura, the most comfortable but I'm sure some would disagree.

I'd have to agree with Deacon that the Stretch is the most comfortable FRN handle I've used (by far for me). Even though it isn't super thick, it feels really hand filling.

Thank you for a clarification!
Last month i've heard many times how good frn-handles is. The only frn :spyder: in my collection is old aus-8 dragonfly, all other - g-10, CF, micarta, SS etc... So i decided to buy frn-clipit but can't choose the model.
ZDP/CF Stretch 2 is in my pocket right now. Beautiful folder!

Since you have the CF Stretch, this should give you an idea of the relative thickess of the FRN version and the Assist. CF Stretch is on the right, Assist on the left, FRN Stretch in the middle.

Wow! Assist is really fat boy! It's really sad to me that Assist is very specific folder - not 100% usual-EDC. Maybe i should wait for frn-manix2? :)

Yes it is. The only other Spyderco model even close to it in terms of thickness was the WTC Knife/D'Allara, and even that's a good 3 to 4cm thinner.

Can't say for sure how thick the Manix 2 will be until it arrives but if it's the same thickness as the CF/S90V version, it will only be less than 1mm thicker than the FRN Stretch or Endura 4. Also, FWIW, the Manix 2 will not be FRN. It's FRCP (fiberglass reinforced co-polymer) and I have no clue as to how similar or different FRN and FRCP are.

Right! It is interesting what is the difference?
