Just curious if anyone picked one of these up when they were available and what their thoughts were on it. I got one of the good deals on the close out on the Forager and love it but keep wishing it were smaller. Just wondering how the little brother has performed. Thanks

I bought a Dayhiker and didn't care for it. The Woodlander, Forager and Forester all have the same large handles which are suitable for heavy gloves. The Dayhiker has a handle that is so skinny it feels like there's nothing there. I also question putting a convex edge on a relatively small knife. The Temp 2 is MUCH better in every way.
If you want something smaller you'll likely be happy with the Woodlander.

As said if you have small hands you may like the Dayhiker . I had a Woodlander but the handle seemed rather slippery in hand to me so I sold it , must say the knife was a good construction . regards MG2
