The Co-Pilot has been discontinued. For a money clip, would you go with a Cricket of a Dragonfly?

You can still get the copilot. Try eknifeworks.com they are on closeout and cheap.

I went from the Benchmade Dec. 2000 Knife of the Month (now the Model 335 Big Spender) to a Spyderco Co-Pilot as a money clip. Then went to the Cricket.

While it comes down to personal preference, I recommend the Cricket, Co-Pilot, or Navigator over the Dragonfly or Mouse since the location of the clip attachement on those two extends more of the knife away from the money than I prefer.

Cricket is my preference, and if you locate a Carbon Fiber handled one, that's my choice.

Hey GH :

Try bestknives.com or dirtcheapknives.com for
the co-pilot cheaperthandirt.com also had
some on hand. <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> Failing that, go for the
cricket! ( my personal favorite )

You could always look around for a carbon fibre Dragonfly. They have the clip on the pivot end and are very thin, making them ideal as a money clip (I think Sal had that in mind when they were made). The CF Dragonflies come up occasionally on Ebay or the For Sale Forums. Otherwise I also think that the Cricket would make a better money clip that tne Mouse or the stainless Dragonfly. BTW the Copilot is also available on this site.

I say Dragonfly. I am a huge fan of the Mouse, but the Dragonfly is nice and slim and flat, perfect for moneyclip duty.

That said, I often use my Harpy as a money clip when travelling! :-)
