Another Endura, Another Deployment...

Hey, fellow Spyderco nuts! It's been a while since my last post here, but I'm overseas again, this time in Afghanistan, and I'm beginning the work on another testimonial about my favorite Spyderco, the Endura...

I bought a nice new C10BBk at the Fort Hood PX right before we shipped out, and I am falling in love with this black bladed beauty.

I will try to post pics of the knife at work, but our internet is the worst I've seen since 1992, so photo uploading is a PITA.

I turned a Medic buddy of mine onto the Foliage Green E4, and he is very well pleased with it. I told him I would never recommend something if it wasn't worth the money, and his E4 proved me right!

Thank you, Spyderco, for making the best knives out there!

Keep up the great work!

Stay safe over there and thank you for your service. In the Navy (1988 - 1991) we would wish you "fair winds and following seas." I don't know how they say it in the Army, but the sentiment should translate. :)

It's always good to hear when a service member is enjoying their knife and finding it useful.

Stay safe!

Dear Kenny:

Great choice on the black-bladed Endura. Kristi and I have been pushing for more knives with subdued blade finishes and our efforts are paying off. Look for black-bladed versions of the Manix 2, the Warrior, and others coming up in 2011.

From everyone here at Spyderco, thank you for your service!

Stay safe,

Mike

I've always been told a knife is your best friend, and when you're away from home it becomes a loyal, trusted companion. Congratulations on your Spydero Endura, and you and your colleagues stay safe out there! Thanks for what you do!

Dear Mike,

I can't wait to see those new subdued blades. Dare I hope that the Foliage Green Endura could one day come with a black blade? That would be a truly awesome thing, and I would buy two of them!

It would be pretty cool to see a Coyote Brown Endura with a black blade, as well.

If the sales could be seen to justify it, why not FG and CB blades, as well? I'm practically salivating over here at the very thought of coated Spyderco blades...

Take care,

Kenny
