Military Question?

#1

Post by Raden »

I got a Military in a trade today and the "A" in MILITARY is not a "A" it a upside down "V" How rare is this? or is it the norm?

I suspect that it's not rare, as mine is the same.

Do you know I never noticed that <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

As far as I know this is the standard engraving and started a year or so ago when the factory started doing the engraving by laser rather than diamond.

Samo,

I'm with you. I have owned both styles in the past and I much prefer the diamond engraved models. As I mentioned the other day, I am looking for a good home for my ATS-34 serrated model with this style of engraving. I still have and will keep my ATS-34 DE plain edge Millie; forever.

Cheers, Jeff/1911.

I have a fully serrated Military with ATS 34 blade. My "A" is an "A".....how does that differ if any? Really like mine....carry it in my right rear pocket everyday.
