Yes of course, it was my user on my holidays. I guess you mean it doesn't seem the ideal blade shape for eating but you only have to be a little more careful when you put the melon in your mouth... :) I really prefer other kind of blades but once you get used to it you see the pros of materials pushing against the tip as you are cutting bread for example. About H1, maybe not the best steel in the world but I realized how easy is to bring back a hair shaving edge just with a couple of touchs using a ceramic washstand... :)
