Yesterday I celebrated 14 years without alcohol etc by ordering the orange manix2. For those of you out there suffering from their own substance abuse or the substance abuse of others, don't give up hope. The road isn't easy, but the destination is worth it.

Congratulations! I'm sure it wasn't easy, and you definitely earned that Manix!

Congratulations on beating the urges :)

I've never had a vice worth giving up :D But my father gave up tobacco many ago (went cold-turkey after the doctor told him not to come back unless he'd quit), after many years of trying and failing, and he has been the most sanctimonious anti-smoking person every since - bless him :p

:) CONGRATS, CHAD!! :)

Yesss, certainly can be a tough road, I passed my two-year mark this past July.
And 'Success' is just that -- a Road, for me -- not a Destination, but semantics aside... ;) ;)

To those whom choose to responsibly imbibe, I have no problem with that whatsoever.

For me, it became a necessity, as it very nearly cost me my life.
I have since gone from 'nothing to live for' ...to Everything to Live For.

For those whom struggle against an addiction, you're in my Thoughts and my Prayers. Only You can truely free yourselves from an addictive mindset -- and hence the addiction through Free Will, but if you need help; Seek And You Shall Find.

BLESSINGS / Bruce / SB :) :) :) :) :)

PS: I just noticed the time I originally posted. Someone in my new life of recovery told me early on:

"Coincidence Is just God Acting Anonymously".

Soooo True. :D
