Powder steel

I am plannig to get a new custom folder. I can choose blade made from Elmax, CPM S30V, CPM S60V, CPM S90V or RWL 34 and Damasteel. Is there an important difference among these steels except of carbon contents? Thank.

Some offer considerably better edge holding than others, some are easier to sharpen. Am sure there are differences in rust resistance as well. Damasteel is definitely a hundred times better looking than the rest. :D

S60V and S90V are going to provide more wear resistance and edge holding than S30V, with S90V being the highest of the three in that regard. I don't have any personal experience with Elmax or RWL34.
