The Chinook surprises me! Either they were not selling, or they are making way for the 4th Chinook! Fingers crossed!

No more orange Military or blue Stretch? Those are two of my favorite knives, and I'd imagine they both sell well. I know Sal said something about a new blade shape and BRG for the Stretch, so hopefully new Military colors will be on the way, too.

So when will these stop being produced? Now or in 2011? Just trying to decide how much time I have to buy a few of them.

Generally speaking, if something's on the list, production has already ended and it's just a question of how much stock is on hand. Based on past years, some items will be eventually be closed out by Spyderco, but others will sell out on their own. No real way of knowing which will be which.

I'm curious if the G10 UKPKs will be replaced by a generation 2 line, or that the 'g10 line' will be 'replaced' by a series of sprint runs for the AFIs, like the Ti and CF models.

The Stretch CF also is on the list according to my dealer who had his list in front on him, not being discounted much though.

Yes! Death to serrations on the military. But I'm guessing with the supply of them out there they will not be extinct any time soon. Thoug you serra-holics better stock up ;)

I had no idea that the Leafstorm and Rock Lobster were selling well enough to remain in the lineup. If someone were interested in either of those two knives, it looks like they will have another year to pick them up.

I had a feeling the Mariner Salt was eventually going to get the ax. Going to have to pick one up this week now.

I literally just walked in from a visit to the SFO and I see this thread. I'll have to go back soon - The Aqua Salt is one of my favorite fixed blade knives. I'll have to get another (or two).

However, I did buy some nice things.

I wouldn't be surprised if they are not selling well, but Sal & Co are going the extra mile to show current and future outside designers that Spyderco is the best company to partner with.

Obviously, I have no idea what sales figures are like for the UKPK G10s but I am still very surprised ... will there be a steel upgrade on the FRNs or maybe sprints of the G10 later? It seems odd to have "collector's items" (CF & Ti) as the only models with the high-end steel?
My spydies: Squeak, Tenacious, Terzuola, D'Allara, UKPK CF peel-ply pre-production, UKPK CF smooth pre-production, UKPK G10 orange leaf-blade, UKPK FRN grey drop-point, UKPK FRN maroon leaf-blade, Bug ... all PE blades :)
